San Benito police have reported the arrest of a man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Alberto Matamoros III, 26, is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a charge that dates back to April for allegedly touching his relative, a 3-year-old girl, inappropriately.
After the alleged molestation, the 3 year old made an outcry to her grandmother. Police were contacted shortly afterwards.
The girl later identified Matamoros as the accused molester, according to officers with the San Benito Police Department (SBPD), and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
