Nelda Jean Valenzuela Button passed away on April 23, 2012 at Corpus Christi Bay Area Heart Hospital.
She was born in San Benito, Texas on April 10, 1953 to Pedro and Viola Valenzuela.
Nelda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard S. Button on October 6, 2010.
She is survived by her parents Pete and Viola Valenzuela, of San Benito, TX; her daughters Valerie Jean Guillen and her sons Joshua and Jacob, and Ashley Nicole Burge (Kevin) and her children Hailey and Cameron, all from Corpus Christi, TX; her sisters and brother Linda (Joel) Saavedra and children Christopher and Christina; Nora Ann Blackwell and daughters Leanne and Marci; Peter III (Maggie) and his children Peter IV, Mark and Amanda; Viola Pope and her daughter Donna Kay; and Irma (Leeroy) Corkill and her sons Kenneth and Keith.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Henry Thomae Funeral Home, 701 North Bowie Street, San Benito, TX.
