’Hounds roll to victory over Porter, 3-2

After three hours of game play, the San Benito Greyhound baseball team pulled off an upset victory against Porter High School, 3-2.

The team started off slow but later began showing signs of life by the third inning, when Aaron Figueroa scored the first run. Following him were number Arturo Rosales and number L.J. Garcia, who scored the winning run for the team brought in Rosales. Johnny Garza then brought in Garcia.

Sophomore pitcher Allen Ramirez, number 15, struck out six batters as he helped lead the team to victory.
