Mario Montez is something of a collector.
While strolling through flea markets, garage and yard sales, the 47-year-old San Benito resident has been known to have an eye for the peculiar.
The weirder the better.
He also likes his history, and every once in a while he’ll come upon something that combines the two, much to his delight. And that’s what happened when he recently shopped at a Weslaco flea market.
There, Mario happened upon a certain gentleman’s booth and discovered a handful of photos depicting everything from 1960s Germany, specifically the Berlin Wall, to Lourdes, France.
