We’re in the 2012 year, and I think people need to stop bringing up events from the past that do not even relate to the current arrangement. Mr. Gonzalez is a highly respectable man, who is more than qualified to make our city a better place. So unless you know actual facts, and not just what certain political figures say, then you do not truly know his qualifications.
