The San Benito Public Library has a few new tricks up its sleeves.
During the regular Friends of the Library (FOTL) meeting, Library Director Jerry Salazar announced that the library will be accepting credit and bank cards, thanks in part of an effort to bring more citizens of the city to visit the establishment.
“We are doing this to give the public an easier way to pay for fines as well as paying for the items in the snack bar,” Salazar said during the meeting. “We already have an account set up with our (bank) account, and we just need to spread the word. The library will accept all credit cards.”
