Garza inducted into RGV Walk of Fame

Former San Benito City Commissioner and current Veterans Advisory Board Chair Victor Garza was recently inducted into the Rio Grande Valley Walk of Fame during the 2012 Border Fest in Hidalgo.

Garza, who was born and raised in San Benito, is married to Blanca E. Garza and has six children.

He graduated from San Benito High School in 1979 before serving the United States Army for two years, with six years of Inactive Reserve until his honorable discharge.

    The man looks sharp, happy and with his partner really bring out the charter in this gentleman. A true man who stands by his faith and good will…..A man who leaves a legacy of his works to better mankind lives for ever.

      Be nice. Mr. Garza has always been involved in our community and cares about its citizens. Anyone that sacrifices their time to serve on boards and city commision, when they could be spending time with his family, deserves
      this recognition. Hats Off to him, his family should be proud.
