Parks Board approved to operate league

baseball gloveThe San Benito City Commission unanimously approved an agenda item during Tuesday’s regular meeting that allowed the Parks and Recreation Board to operate the San Benito Youth Baseball/Softball League (STYSS).

Current SBYBSL President Frank Garza, however, argues that the league is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization recognized by the IRS. Also, Garza provided Cameron County documents showing the league registered under his name as the president until January 2022.

    This will be an accident waiting to happen! Where is the so called leadership of the PONY baseball league? What about it Rick?
