LOS FRESNOS – The streets of Los Fresnos will be filled February 3-5 with not only local residents for this year’s PRCS Rodeo and Cameron County Fair and Livestock show, but also with citizens from all over the Valley as the 2012 event is predicted to be one of the most heavily-participated on record.

Los Fresnos Rodeo Committee Chairman Mark Milum said that this year was definitely going to be bigger and better with new additions to the show, such as the new Rodeo Concert that will have five-time Grammy Award winner Little Joe y la Familia performing.

Also, the city will hold its 23rd Annual PRCA Rodeo beginning Friday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m., as well as Sunday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. The rodeo theme for this year will be “Saluting America’s Heroes” and will consist of many events including a Professional Bullfighters Association Team Competition.
