The City of San Benito Planning and Zoning Board discussed Thursday the implications of upgrading the Moody Plaza, located on the 800 block of Sam Houston Boulevard, to another commercial status during a regular meeting.
The discussion came after the owner, Joseph Dowey, expressed concern about what he said was the closure of the plaza’s businesses after receiving written correspondence from the City of San Benito that the building wasn’t zoned properly.
