RIO GRANDE CITY – The Rio Hondo Bobcats traveled to Rio Grande City Thursday to take on the Grulla Gators in what turned out to be an emotional game as the latter squad’s offensive lineman, Adrian Peña, recently passed.
It was a tough night for both teams as they battled for a playoff spot, but is was the Bobcats who came back from a 13-0 deficit and just barely got away with a 14-13 win.
