The San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (SBCISD) Special Education Program has been awarded the highest level of performance by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) during Oct. 11 regular board meeting.
The agency released the decision in September and based its findings by the Performance Based Monitoring Analysis System (PBMAS), a data system developed by TEA in 2006.
