WESLACO – This one, as they say, may be for all the marbles.
Coming into the game undefeated in District 32-5A, the San Benito Greyhounds (5-1 overall, 3-0 in district) and the Weslaco Panthers (6-0 overall, 3-0 in district) are set to clash Friday for what is sure to be a game of epic proportions.
For San Benito, it is back to Bobby Lackey Stadium as the Greyhounds dispatched Weslaco East in week one action. It’s now time for the ’Hounds to move on to the Weslaco Panthers, who arguably pose a bigger threat.
