RIO HONDO – The Rio Hondo Bobcats earned a measure of redemption on their homecoming night with a blowout 27-0 win against the Falfurrias Jersey Bulls.
Entering the game with two back-to-back losses on the road, it was no surprise that the ’Cats came out with determination in their eyes. Charged by quarterback Juan Puga’s amazing performance, once Rio Hondo started scoring, the Bobcats didn’t stop.
Beginning the scoring was Mr. Friday Night himself, Juan Puga, with a 1-yard scamper into the end-zone on the Cats’ first possession of the game.
