Thursday afternoon the San Benito Friends of the Library hosted their first Back to School Backpack Drawing, where they gave 50 lucky kids backpacks for the upcoming school year. Members of the San Benito Police and Fire Departments were on hand. Those helping contribute to the backpacks were local firefighters, police officers and the Friends.
