A 59-year-old man reported missing Tuesday by the San Benito Police Department (SBPD) has been found.

William “Bart” B. Tumlinson of San Benito had been missing since Sunday, May 1, when he was last seen at his apartment on the 1800 block of Combes Street at approximately 10 a.m. by his caretaker, according to SBPD Lieutenant Martin Morales.

Tumlinson reportedly has the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s and is currently taking several medications. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, blue dress pants, and brown Crocs.

According to a San Benito police press release, Tumlinson left behind his cell phone and his medications.

On Wednesday, however, Morales reported that Tumlinson was located at an area hospital, where he had admitted himself.
