If you are a fan of basketball and would like to see some of the best, then make plans for a trip to South Padre Island January 10-13 as the NBA D-League is bringing in all of their teams for a four-day showcase.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 10, there will be four games per day as each team in the league will play two games during the span.
The announcement was made at a press conference back in May that the SPI Convention and Visitors Bureau had successfully brought the event here to the Valley. Last year this showcase was held in Boise Idaho and proved to be a chance for players to play before crowds that included many scouts and NBA representatives from every team. This year the league looks as strong as ever with a mix of talent that will hit the floor.
