@ RSB; we are most appreciative of you taking the time to inform us of the true reasons behind these unjustifiable acquisitions. Trust me, we never tire of reading your knowledgeable behind the scenes insights. The cracked overhead beams theory speaks volumes and indeed raises many flags.

Thank you for your persistence RSB. It’s time to audit the auditor.

Two old friends ran into each other while having breakfast.

Arturo: “Hey, Jose, how’s your hotel going?”
Jose: “Not so well, my friend.”
    Arturo: “What?! What happened?”
Jose: “There was a fire and I lost everything.”
Arturo: “That is sad news, my friend. When did this happen?”
    Jose: “Tomorrow.”

Does anyone remember the name of the person who allegedly started the fire at the Stonewall? He was charged with arson/attempted arson, was he not? Funny, but I can’t seem to find that information anywhere.

When I look at these pictures, I can see why this is a desirable property. How unbelievable that it went from this to dilapidation in the 15 months between Mayor Hernandez’ victory party and the fire. Just too too hard to believe!

December 10, 2010: Does this look like a building not up to code?

How did this building go from this condition on 12/10/10 to the deteriorated, unsafe building the city wants us to believe they found on August 27, 2012?

Are we really to believe that the unsafe conditions for which the owners were cited in 2012 — “cracked overhead beams” — occurred since then and not between 1927 and then?

This building operated in the condition shown in these photos at least from 12/10/10 until 5/11, when it hosted the mayor’s re-election victory party. Are we to believe that all the code violations occurred thereafter? Or, were they overlooked for then-owner Partida but not for the new owners, Cuevas and Nelson?

Did the city strong-arm Cuevas and Nelson through code violations it overlooked in the past so the SBHA and the city could steal it?
