On a cold night that resembled football weather in the north, the Boys & Girls Club of San Benito wrapped up its season with a pair of championship games that thrilled one and all. San Benito would win the first game in a back and forth affair with Raymondville and then pull out a last second thriller in the final game with a win over Brownsville.
9-10 Year Olds
The Raymondville Texans came into the game with a record of 10-1 and that one loss came at the hands of the Dr. Cash Gators. The Gators had tasted defeat just twice while winning nine games and one of their losses came to the Texans thus setting up a war for the outright championship. Neither team disappointed.
