The bright lights of the holiday season were brought to life Saturday night at a ceremony held at the W.H Amphitheater in San Benito. Several families attended and special singing helped bring to life the tradition of turning on the lights to celebrate another Christmas.

Mayor Jack Garcia was in attendance along with several other special guests that came on this evening.

Garcia stressed the significance of the city pulling together the resources and the manpower to have the lights each year, singing the praise of those who had volunteered their time and resources in order for the community to benefit from the Christmas display.
