HARLINGEN – As autumn brings winds of an undoubtedly crisp and even cool (at times – after all this is South Texas) nature, there’s also an unmistakable song in the air which can be accredited to the family-friendly concert and carnival event, Praise on the Hill set to take place this Saturday in Harlingen.
Since its 2007 origin at McKelvey Park in Harlingen, Praise on the Hill has maintained a singular focus of preserving family and faith. David Gray, the event’s founder, said, “My desire is to have an event that is very family friendly.”
Gray expanded by saying, “A lot of activities out there aren’t too family-friendly anymore. I thought, ‘Let’s do something faith-oriented and make it appropriate for the whole family.’”
