San Benito police have apprehended a local man accused of kidnapping another male at knife-point.
Detective Rogelio Banda of the San Benito Police Department said in a press release that 35-year-old Gustavo Tijerina of San Benito arrived at a car wash in a gray four-door car before allegedly threatening to stab the victim, a 43-year-old man, if he didn’t get inside the vehicle with him.
Upon arrival at the car wash, located on the 300 block of S. Sam Houston, officers were told by the victim that he complied with the suspect but managed to escape unscathed.
