Kids ‘pretending to be ninjas’ break into Berta Cabaza

emergency-lightsFaces concealed and wearing camouflage, video surveillance footage recently caught a number of individuals vandalizing a San Benito school.

According to San Benito CISD Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón, there have been at least three incidents this summer in which Berta Cabaza Middle School was targeted by vandals.

Authorities have yet to disclose the extent of the damage nor the dates of the incidents. School district police did confirm, however, that one crime was committed at around midnight and another at 5 a.m. And while investigation by the school’s police department has thus far not uncovered who the perpetrators are, the superintendent anticipates the footage helping authorities find those responsible.
