RIO HONDO – Jenifer Guajardo and Belinda Orozco are ahead of the class at Rio Hondo High School as the two were named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for the 2012 school year.
Jenifer, 17, participates in Upward Bound, National Honor Society (NHS), the Art Club and tennis. She was inspired by her own curiosities of some beliefs throughout her life, which is why after high school she wants to write a book based on theology.
Her major at Texas State University in San Marcos will be cultural anthropology, where she will prepare to live her life of traveling and living with multiple cultures.
