Despite placing second in District 32-5A, the San Benito Greyhounds are in the playoffs after a dry spell of over nine years.
The Greyhounds are set to face the Edinburg High Bobcats in what will be a one-game showdown on Friday, May 4, for a chance to advance to the area round of the playoffs.
Edinburg finished district play with an overall record of 18-9 and claimed the third seed in District 31-5A. The ’Hounds earned the second seed after a loss to Hanna Friday and ended the season with an 18-8 record.
