investigationOne of the San Benito CISD security officers who last year accused her superior of sexual harassment is now focusing on another grievance filed in relation to the case, this time alleging retaliation as a result of her original complaint.

Angelita Abrego, a security officer at Veterans Memorial Academy who was one of two that accused district police chief Santiago R. Garcia of sexual harassment filed a new grievance in March after San Benito CISD Planner/Evaluator Ruben Franco dismissed accusations that she was a victim of retaliation, allegations which stem from a December 2011 meeting.

The district on Monday released Abrego’s level one grievance in response to an open records request. In the grievance, Abrego – whose name has been omitted from the records – claims that she was harassed when called into Garcia’s office on Dec. 9.

i think shes just trying to get money off the school district. i strongly believe that they should monitor her work because she does nothing just place cameras on her and youll see what kind of person she is she wants things handed to her she wants to believe that she runs everything and everyone needs to answer to her. Isnt she just an at will employee anyway so doesnt it all seem alitlle bit funny that she would persue a lawsuit if all that mattered was her reputation and the saftey of having her job or she just wants easy money.. i bet i just gave you something very interesting to think about huh.
