San Benito Fire Marshal Henry Lopez
The letter informing ousted San Benito Fire Marshal Henry Lopez of his indefinite suspension was released Thursday and tells of an altercation between the fire department veteran and Assistant City Manager Arturo Rodriguez, who is tasked with overseeing said department.
Both parties released copies of the letter to the News on Thursday, which reads that the indefinite suspension was “ordered based on the following facts,” of which Lopez, a 34-year veteran of the San Benito Fire Department (SBFD), disputes are alleged until the Civil Service hearings in his case are held in May.
The 11 items listed in Lopez’ suspension letter are largely based on a January 4 meeting between Lopez, Rodriguez, and SBFD Operations Chief Raul Zuniga; although a number of past incidents dating back to 2008 are referenced as well.

Even an illegal weapons charge. Looks like he was given lots of chances and refuses to abide by the rules.
This guy is fighting this? He got what he deserved. He has no chance of getting his job back. Doesn’t sound like he wanted to work.
