A San Benito man beaten with an aluminum baseball bat has been released from the hospital despite suffering from what police described as “life-threatening injuries.”
It was at approximately 4:07 a.m. on Sunday, April 15 when officers with the San Benito Police Department (SBPD) responded to what was reported as an aggravated assault on the 100 block of South Bonham Street.
There, a 30-year-old man reported that he was assaulted with what he believed was an aluminum baseball bat, according to an SBPD news release.
