CORPUS CHRISTI – After dominating the Valley’s best lifters, the San Benito Lady ’Hound powerlifting team headed to Calallen as they faced and conquered new opponents at the Regional Powerlifting Meet.
At 97 pounds, Alex Marmolejo placed first in her division with an impressive bench press of 130 pounds and a combined total of 620 pounds as she easily advanced to the state meet.
Rae Ann Villafranco placed fourth as well as Denise Barrera in the 114 pound weight class.
