On Monday, Feb. 13, San Benito High School senior Greg Rodriguez signed a letter of intent for a full ride to play college football for Jamestown College in North Dakota.

His fellow teammates on the football and basketball teams as well as friends and family gathered to watch Greg, 18, sign the paper that would complete his childhood dream.

“Ever since I was a young boy, all I ever would think of is playing football in college,” he said. “A lot of kids do not think it’s not possible, but I’m here to say it is very attainable with the right attitude and work ethic.”
