The San Benito Greyhounds have found themselves in the thick of what may be the hottest district in 2012: 31-5A.
Following Thursday’s UIL Realignment, the ’Hounds are one of nine teams to make up District 31-5A, which now includes San Benito, Weslaco, Weslaco East moving up from 4A, McAllen, McAllen Memorial, McAllen Nikki Rowe, PSJA, PSJA Memorial and PSJA North.
San Benito’s former home, District 32-5A, consists of Harlingen, Harlingen South, Los Fresnos, and Brownsville Hanna, Porter, Pace, Rivera, Lopez and Veterans Memorial.
