After a long back and forth battle, the Lady ’Hounds came up short for the victory on Friday while at home over the Weslaco Lady Panthers with a score of 52-48.
Though it was not a victory, there were still many positive aspects to look at. Alex Cerda, #4, showed some ball-handling skills storming through opponents. Also doing well was Kassandra Sanchez, #15, who was the leading scorer for the Lady ’Hounds with a total of 22 points. Others scoring were Cerda with two points, Jav’ Ana Gonzalez, #24, with three points; Jackie Elizondo, #52, with two points; Cejay Banuelos, #22, with two points; Sarah Hartman, #55, with 14 points and Vanessa Flores, #21, with three points.
