A benefit concert is on tap Friday, Jan. 20, in which canned food or monetary donations gains entry.
The donations accumulated will go to the San Benito Food Pantry as part of a benefit to aid the non-profit organization in its efforts to feed needy families.
The event is scheduled at El Gallito Mexican Restaurant in San Benito, 2480 W. US Highway 77, #1 from 7-9 p.m. and will feature Carlos and Jean-Luc Cañas, a father and son duo who, along with San Juanita Millan will sing the oldies.
