Kassandra Sanchez was just a fifth grader in the city of San Benito when she began to follow her dream of playing the sport she loves, basketball.
Known as Stretch, she stands at about 6’0” tall of pure athletic ability. An 18-year-old senior at San Benito High School, Stretch plays starting post for the San Benito Lady ’Hounds varsity squad.
She grew up watching her older brother play basketball, and that is where she became familiar with the sport. “He is the reason why I try to be the best I can,” Stretch said.
