Some may want to start calling Jason Lopez Mr. Fantastic.
As a junior starting for the San Benito Greyhounds varsity basketball team, Jason isn’t quite the fictional super hero portrayed in the Fantastic Four comic book series and feature films. But with a wingspan of more than 78.74 inches in length per arm, it’s fair to say that Jason has some reach.
At just three years old, Jason picked up his first basketball and fell in love with the sport. He decided to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Joshua Lopez, a 2011 graduate and Greyhound basketball alum who recently signed to play college ball for Lindenwood University in Missouri (full story in today’s edition).
