Members of the San Benito City Commission aren’t saying much on their appointments to the recently approved charter committee.
Place 3 Commissioner Bill Elliot gave no comment on the matter, stating only, “I’ll make a comment when I announce my appointment.”
Mayor Pro Tem Tony Gonzales said, “I don’t even know the qualifications that the nominees are supposed to have.”

Tony Gonzales is quoted as saying “I don’t even know the qualifications that the nominees are supposed to have.” What?? And this man is a city commissioner? Boy its time for a change in city government!!!
