After making San Benito High School girls basketball history last year with their first ever district championship, the Lady ’Hounds are back in action and are hosting their first ever San Benito Classic Varsity Girls Tournament.
The Lady ’Hounds cruised through the first round Thursday, knocking out Rio Hondo and Brownsville Veterans for a shot at the finals.
Lady ’Hounds Head Coach Clarisse Arredondo viewed the tournament as an opportunity for improvement before heading into district.
