Lopez to run at state cross-country meet

San Benito High School cross-country star Brenda Lopez continues her success on the field and has qualified to participate in the state track meet this Saturday.

As a junior, Lopez has already accomplished more than what many seniors hope to accomplish in a four-year span.

Placing sixth in the regional meet, Lopez, 16, earned her way up to the prestigious meet and will be representing not only San Benito but also the Valley.
