A San Benito man and woman were arrested Wednesday morning after what originally began as an alleged domestic dispute turned into three counts of child endangerment.

According to San Benito Police Lieutenant Martin Morales, the police department received a call at approximately 9:37 a.m. pertaining to a domestic dispute at a small apartment located on the 400 block of South Williams Road involving 22-year-old Manuel Sierra and 22-year-old Laura Ashley Hernandez.

Morales said that officer Juan Velez responded to the call, and upon arriving at the apartment he noticed traces of marijuana on the floor. He said that police found approximately 1.07 ounces of marijuana.

According to Morales, the common law couple had three children together, a three-year-old boy, a two-year-old girl, and a 10-month-old girl. Morales described the condition that the children were living in as allegedly being “extremely filthy” and “unlivable;” further explaining that the smell of the apartment seemed as though smoke from the marijuana had penetrated the residence.

Another case of two losers who have no business having children. Most likely the Govt also supports them.
