SAN BENITO, TX—Hermelinda Rodriguez, 88, of San Benito, TX passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Rodriguez; her sons, Regino Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez and Lauro Rodriguez; and her daughters, Estela Santos and Micaela Rodriguez.
Hermelinda is survived by her six daughters, Connie Salinas (Ernesto) of Garland, TX; Cruz Rodriguez (Ramon) of Irving, TX; Teresa Resendez (Raul) of San Benito, TX; Esther Rodriguez of Garland, TX; Alicia Rodriguez (Rick) of Garland, TX; and Irene Rodriguez of Sanger, TX; her four sons, Paul Rodrigues of Austin, TX; Ramon Rodriguez (Esmeralda) of Pearland, TX; Jaime Rodriguez (Nelda) of Garland, TX; and Roman Rodriguez of Garland, TX; 34 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Chapel service was held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. Interment followed to San Benito City Cemetery.
