A San Benito man was arrested last week after being charged with theft and forgery of a financial instrument. Noe Aguirre, a 1997 graduate of San Benito High School was arrested by the Harlingen Police Department in connection with a warrant that was issued over a year ago after he reportedly took a check that was not made out to him and somehow managed to cash it.
It is not clear exactly which incident he was arrested for, however, as he had multiple similar complaints against him from around the community.
