The search for a new City Manager in San Benito took another step forward on Monday night when the City Commission reviewed 18 applications from all across the State and were able to narrow down their list of finalists to just eight. Interviews are expected to be scheduled in early December. The special City meeting, which was originally meant as a workshop to present ideas for a new Community Museum, went into executive session when the time came for the applications to be reviewed.
