Police are looking to question a local man who is facing possible third degree felony charges of Family Violence/Impeding Breath after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face during an argument. According to a police report, Arturo Garza got upset when his girlfriend asked him to leave their apartment and not come back, at which point he allegedly proceeded to choke and punch her.
Police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment complex down the 300 block of Helen Moore at approximately 10:30 last Wednesday night. When officers arrived, the victim told him that her boyfriend had just left, but the officer could see scratches on her face as well as swelling under her left eye, the report stated.
