Socorro Nava

Socorro Nava, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.  
She was born November 11, 1942 in Harlingen, Texas.
Socorro was a lifetime resident of San Benito and a member of Coronas En El Cielo Ministry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Nava; and her parents, Sabino and Lorenza Reza.
Socorro is survived by children Andres Nava (Marisela) of San Benito, Juan Rios (Melinda) of Indiana, and Lucy Garcia (Job Arendall) of Corpus Christi; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin today, June 19, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel, with Pastors Andres and Maricela Nava officiating. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Andres Nava, Andres Nava, Jr.; Abraham Nava, Daniel Rios, Michael Rios, Jesse Rios, Jose Diaz, and Michael Rios, Jr.
