With police actively cracking down on drunk driving, it was somewhat of a surprise when one alleged drunk driver came rolling up to the front door of the police station. According to a press release from the police department, around 7 a.m. Sunday morning, while leaving the police station to start his shift, an officer heard a loud noise coming from the parking lot of the station. As the officer approached to check up on the incident, he saw a black SUV driven by 30-year old Joe Reyna revving its engine and eventually ramming into the concrete police station sign, the release stated.
But Reyna wasn’t finished there apparently. The report states the officer witnessed the black Range Rover reverse, jump a curb, and drive directly towards the front doors of the police station. Reyna then allegedly reversed the vehicle again before attempting to drive off down Williams Road towards Russell Lane.
