Music has been a part of Nadya Moreno’s life for about as long she can remember. With both of her parents involved in music education, there was always a strong push towards music, but even her parents might not have been able to predict how great the 16-year-old sophomore would be. At a UIL guitar competition last week, Moreno was awarded a one ranking in the solo competition- the highest possible rank – and was part of the first place winning ensemble.
