The San Benito ACE Program invites families and the community to one of the most important after-school events of the year—its Fall Festival, slated for Friday, October 24, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the San Benito Fairgrounds, located at 1501 Cesar Gonzales, San Benito.
The ACE After School Program, the San Benito Police Department, and the Economic Development Board of San Benito have teamed up for this event.
This “spooktacular” evening promises fun, excitement, and unforgettable memories for the entire community, brought to you by the hard work and dedication of the San Benito School District’s After School Site Coordinators, Secretaries, Family Engagement, Assistant Director, Curriculum Specialist, Celia Banuelos, ACE Director, and Grace Covarrubias, Site Coordinator at Ed Downs, who is leading the event planning for the ACE Program.
“I’m excited to come together with the ASP team and the San Benito Police Department to create such a fun and memorable night—not only for our students, but for the entire San Benito community as well. This event allows us to shine a light on our SBCISD Afterschool Program and its positive impact on our students and community,” said Grace Covarrubias, Ed Downs Site Coordinator.
“We are excited to work alongside our local police department. This partnership is designed to strengthen community connections, build trust, and provide students with meaningful experiences,” said Banuelos.
This Halloween-themed festival will feature performances and have tables to distribute free candy and items from every campus in our ACE program, including all 11 elementary schools, four middle schools, San Benito High School, and the nine-grade academy.
Attendees can expect free carnival rides and bouncers, games and activity booths hosted by each campus, candy giveaways and prizes, live music and student performances, and a community celebration for all ages.
