A wanted fugitive was apprehended in the Resaca City last week.
According to the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), on Monday, March 18, 2024, Cameron County Sheriff’s Investigators responded to a residence in San Benito, in an attempt to locate a wanted subject.
According to the CCSO, upon arrival, contact was made with the wanted subject identified as Juan Antonio Hernandez Gonzalez, 22 years of age.
CCSO Investigators informed Hernandez Gonzalez of the warrant for Failure To Appear on a Possession of a Controlled Substance arrest. According to the report, Cameron County Sheriff’s Investigators placed the subject under arrest without incident.
Hernandez Gonzalez was transported to the Cameron County, Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center in Olmito where he was booked for Warrant #2023-DCR-00338-D.
