Cameron County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a local woman on child endangerment charges.
According to a Cameron County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) report, on November 30 of this year, Deputies responded to a residence in San Benito regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, Sheriff Deputies were alerted that one of the parties to the disturbance was allegedly leaving the premises, operating a vehicle with four children while possibly intoxicated.
Sheriff Deputies were able to make contact with the alleged operator of the vehicle, identified as Yuliana Lopez Gaspar, and determined that she was allegedly intoxicated.
Lopez Gaspar allegedly admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and wanting to leave the premises when she saw Cameron County Sheriff Patrol Units approaching the house.
