Police issue ‘Silver Alert’

According to a press release issued by the San Benito Police Department (SBPD) late Wednesday afternoon, on July 18, 2023, Juan Chavez Carrillo, a San Benito resident, was reported missing to the SBPD by family members.

Carrillo is approximately 5’ 7” in height and is of a thin build, weighing approximately 125-145 lbs. He was last seen Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at around 8 a.m., and he was believed to have left his home at the area of 1100 North Shore Dr., San Benito, riding a purple colored bicycle towards an unknown location.

Carrillo suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is considered a risk to himself if left alone, read the SBPD statement. He was said to have been wearing a black in color veteran’s hat, a long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
